Colby Morrison
Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant
Huntsville, AL
Hi, I’m Colby Morrison, a Pediatric Sleep Consultant with the Tiny Transitions Slumber Squad. I help families of babies and toddlers understand what’s really happening with sleep, build routines that work for their individual child, and feel more confident when the nights get hard.
And yes, I’m a dad.
That matters because I know firsthand that parenting a baby or toddler brings a lot of questions, very little sleep, and a whole lot of conflicting advice. I’ve lived the late-night rocking, the short naps, the night wakings, and the desperate searches for something that actually works. When we found a better path for sleep in our own family, I saw how much of a difference better sleep made for everyone. It wasn’t just about getting more hours at night. We had more patience, more energy, and more capacity to actually enjoy our family.
That experience is what led me to sleep consulting.
As one of the few male pediatric sleep consultants working in the United States, I’m also passionate about creating more space for dads in the conversation around infant and toddler sleep. Moms shouldn’t have to be the only ones searching for answers, and dads shouldn’t feel like sleep support isn’t meant for them. Whether you’re a mom, dad, partner, or caregiver, you deserve practical education and support that helps your entire family.
As part of the Slumber Squad, I’m trained in the Sleep Steps™ method and supported by the experience and expertise of the full Tiny Transitions team. Every family I work with receives an individualized approach based on their child’s age, temperament, development, sleep environment, and your family’s goals and parenting values.
There is no one-size-fits-all sleep plan here. There is no judgment. And there is no expectation that your family has to parent exactly like someone else.
Whether you’re navigating newborn sleep, short naps, frequent night wakings, early mornings, bedtime battles, or a transition to a toddler bed, I’m here to help you understand the why behind your child’s sleep and give you the tools and confidence to move forward.
Based just outside Huntsville, Alabama, I work with families locally and across the country. When I’m not talking about sleep, you’ll usually find me spending time with my kids, cooking, getting outside, or enjoying a good book.
Better sleep changes more than bedtime. It gives families more energy, more patience, and more opportunity to enjoy the people they worked so hard to build a life with. I’d love to help your family find that, too.
