“If you’re like most parents, and struggling to get your little one to sleep, I highly recommend working with Rosie at Tiny Transitions. I first approached the “sleep training” idea a little skeptical, and quite frankly scared. I had the misconception that the only sleeping training method there was, was “Cry it Out”, and I wasn’t 100% comfortable with that. Rosie took the time to explain to me that, that wasn’t the case for sleep training, and there were a lot of different approaches. She helped me find a method that I was comfortable with, and that was perfect for my family. We started sleep training at 4.5 months, and she was sleeping falling asleep on her own within 3 nights. I’ll never forget the anxiety I had the first night, but she did great. It took somewhere between 30-40 minutes for her to fall sleep on her own, and slept through the entire night. The following night it took about 10-15 minutes, and by the third night she was sleep on her own within minutes. All through the way Tiny Transitions was there to coach me through, and just give me the moral support I needed. I had no idea what a large impact wake times had on a babies good night sleep. Rosie gave me all of the knowledge and tools I needed to set my daughter up for a successful night of sleep. I couldn’t have done it without them. Of all of the decisions I had to make as a first time mom, this was absolutely the best decision I made. My daughter is now 17 months, and falls sleep on her own EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, no matter where we are. She sleeps from 7pm to 6am-ish every night, and always wakes up with a smile on her face. BTW – my daughter took EVERY SINGLE NAP on me for the first 4+ months of her life. No more “nap jail” for me! Seeing is believing so enjoy the video from last night.”

Teddy, my husband, and I were exhausted, but we couldn’t pinpoint the problem or find a solution, which led to frustration, anxiety, and even less sleep. With Courtney’s help, we determined why Teddy was waking and developed a plan to address his needs. Once we started the plan, we all, most importantly Teddy, slept great. Courtney also helped ease our stress and anxieties throughout the sleep training process by responding to emails at all hours of the day and night, talking on the phone without making us feel rushed, and helping us work through some unexpected issue that came up. And Courtney’s help did not end with sleep training; she had great advice on nursing, reflux, colic etc. My only regret is that I didn’t call Courtney sooner. We talked on the phone and before we knew it we were having our first consultation and executed on a plan to take our daughter, who for the first 11 months of her life had slept thru the night 4 times. “We had such a great experience with Courtney! Our daughter was 2.5 when we started working with Courtney. For just over 2 years our daughter had been a great sleeper, after some sleep training as an infant, and then things tanked hard and fast! We struggled for months trying to get our sleep back on track with no success. We were dealing with fighting bedtime, fighting nap time, multiple night wakings, early morning wakings, etc. Courtney took the time to listen to us and understand our situation before coming up with our sleep plan. “We had a fantastic experience with Tiny Transitions Sleep Consulting. Our 3.5-year-old was not able to fall asleep at night without mommy staying in her room. Some nights it would only be ten minutes, while other nights it was 45 minutes to an hour plus. She would make a lot of excuses, especially asking for more milk. This led to her waking up numerous times every night and needing both those crutches (mommy and milk) to fall back asleep. We reached out to Courtney, when sleep got to the point of so much anxiety and restlessness, that we knew we needed help. Courtney responded to us right away and jumped on a call the next day to have a consultation, we told her a little bit about our situation, and she immediately made me feel supported and not alone. We knew we made the right decision. After providing more details about our daughter, she came up with a great approach to help our daughter with her sleep habits. Day 1 was not easy, but Courtney was there for us through it all. Checking in and reminding us that it will get easier. After a few days of getting our little one to fall asleep without getting up and making excuses, she was going to bed with no struggle and no milk. By day 4, Mommy was able to leave the room after a couple minutes, and our daughter fell asleep quickly and through the night. On top of falling asleep quickly, our daughter woke up in the morning extremely proud of her accomplishments and that she was on her way to becoming an all star sleeper. It has now been a month since we began working with Courtney, we have traveled, been away from the house, and through it all, our daughter has been going to bed with no struggle, not needing mommy in the room, and sleeping through the night.
