Hi, I'm Megan Dobbs

Pediatric Sleep Consultant

 

Hi! My name is Megan Dobbs and I am a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant.  I live in Tampa, Florida with my husband and our son, Charlie.

My education is in Psychology and I have spent the past 10+ years working in research in one capacity or another, ranging from coordinating Clinical Trials to managing Qualitative Market Research projects with a focus on healthcare.  Outside of work, my passions have always revolved around health and fitness.  Once I had my son, sleep (or lack thereof) quickly joined the ranks as one of my new passions.  Never had it been so clear how important sleep is to our overall health. We as parents, need our sleep to be the very best we can be for our children, and our children need their sleep to develop and grow the way they are meant to.

 

Like many of you, sleep, sleep schedules, naps, sleep regressions, routines, etc. have become a central part of your thoughts, and all too often, we end up feeling like we are failing somehow.  Why aren’t they sleeping through the night yet, why do they wake up so often, why are the naps good one day and short the next?  

It can be extremely frustrating and EXHAUSTING! As I was going through my own sleep challenges with my son, I realized I didn’t just want to see him sleeping through the night, I wanted to help other families achieve the same success. I decided then that I was going to become as educated and knowledgeable on sleep as I possibly can be. I am extremely fortunate to be a part of the Tiny Transitions team and equally excited to have a chance to work with you!

I am committed to taking this journey with you and your family.  Combining my expertise in research and data with my passion for living a healthy lifestyle, I know we will make a fabulous team. Together, we will decide what is best for you and your child and, before you know it, sleepless nights will be a thing of the past.
